Managing Up

Introduction:

Have a great rapport with your employees and your peers? You"re not done yet! Learning how to manage up is a key component of any successful career. Through application exercises and a rich multimedia process, this course will teach you what you need to know to create positive relationships with those you report to.

In this course you will learn:

  • What ‘managing up’ means and why it is important
  • You will also recognize your role in the relationship
  • Learn how to appropriately ‘toot your own horn’
  • Know when to call on management for help and develop a plan to implement your new skills

At the end of the course is a test to check your understanding.

You must pass the test with 80% score.

Don’t worry, if you don’t pass the test the first time, you can review the course and try again.

This course should take you about 30 minutes to complete.
